Signed by Fritz and Batz on colophon page. Also signed by Batz with additional inscription on one blank page. German language. 11 leaves loose in portfolio, inside slipcase. Slipcase is in good condition with some edge wear at bottom edge and overall shelf wear. Leaves are heavy paper, clean, bright. Five original etchings by Eugen Batz 1905-1986, a Bauhaus student who worked with Paul Klee, Josef Alberts, and Wassily Kandinsky. Poetry by Walter Helmut Fritz (1929-2010). Title translates to English as "Driftwood." Copies from 1 to 30 were assigned Roman numerals and were not available for general sale. This was numbered VII. Etchings; 15" tall; Signed by Author and artist.
