Sound binding and hinges. Previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown. Clean pages slightly age-darkened with light foxing, heavier on endpapers. Paper over boards has light edge rubbing with minor wear at one corner tip. Boards are very slightly bowed. 100 copies printed by the Grabhorn Press, March 1936. Essay written in 1919 as a justification of Lawrence's life and work. Published posthumously with permission of his widow. 10.0" tall; 8 pages.
