Paper is slightly age-darkened with light edge wear to some. ; Well preserved set of wire photos or news agency photos issued in 1915 to the press in limited quantities (sometimes as few as 25-50 per photo, although the number in this case is uncertain) for print media use. This set includes pictures of soldiers of the Teuton armies: statue of von Hindenburg, cycle corps in Poland, convoy passing Dubno, new pontoon bridge, Russian prisoners, Prince Leopold in Warsaw, soldiers in a farmhouse, German bridge train, ox team transports, Austrian infantry. Peasants in war-swept lands: woman of Galicia plowing, Russian woman's shelter in the ruins, Russian refugees on the way home. Also two aviation photographs: aeroplane view of Germans attacking behind gas clouds and a German aeroplane captured by Russians. ; 8.75" tall; 8 pages.
