This is the true British first edition, not the less hard to find American Episcopal Book Club edition. Square with sharp corners, very slight edge rubbing to red cloth over boards at spine. Tight binding and hinges, clean and bright pages. No writing or marks. Very lightly read. Bit of shelf soiling to exterior edges of pages (visible when closed). 192pp. DJ has minor edge wear, one-inch (2 cm) closed tear at top of front at spine, slight discoloration at bottom of spine. Spine is a bit sunned. Light dampstaining in top area of DJ, more visible on reverse than on exterior, but can be seen at top of spine. DJ in clear mylar sleeve.
